Using unique web technology, A Suit That Fits.com gives customers the flexibility to design and completely customise their individually hand-tailored suit, shirt, or overcoat at an affordable ‘off-the-peg’ price, with suits starting at £150. This is completely new to the tailoring industry, since whereas suits are traditionally sold as packages, A Suit That Fits.com are the first tailoring firm to offer complete transparency on suit pricing, providing a basic model that can be built up and completely customised.

Both Warren and David have had a long-term passion for suits, something that they say was helped by wearing the jacket and trouser uniform (and later the complete suit in the sixth form) at the Perse. Suiting then became more than just an interest after Warren had a fantastic quality, fine woollen suit made whilst doing voluntary work in Nepal in 2005.

On returning to the UK, Warren met up with David, and together they decided to use their recently acquired engineering and software backgrounds to simplify and improve tailoring. They trialled the idea of A Suit That Fits.com at Hampstead market and sold their first suit within just twenty minutes of opening. They then worked through the night to create a simple website, just about able to take payment, and rented office space using money loaned on a credit card. Nearly three years on, they have a wonderful team of tailors both here in the UK and in Nepal, and they have delivered nearly 17,000 hand-tailored suits.

A Suit That Fits.com won the 'Online Business of the Year’ at the Startups Awards 2008 and 'Small to Medium-sized business of the Year' at the National Business Awards, South-East, 2008. Founders Warren Bennett and David Hathiramani also won ‘Young Entrepreneur of the Year’ Award at Startups 2008.
